lyrics
Unaware
Who your parents are
In constant fear
Of denunciation
You throw yourself into Complete submission
Even if it hurts
To feel him inside of you
Thou shalt have no other gods before Uncle Schäfer
The way of the Lord is unfathomable
But yours lead into his bedroom
The young must be blessed
Let’s see if you're worthy
To receive the seed of your god
And if you don’t enjoy it
Than it’s you who is wrong
And that’s why you have to suffer
Welcome to the place
of subjection
Now take off your clothes
For your epiphany
Prepare yourself
For the electrifying experience
of the holy existence

Masterful use of acoustic passages and synth stuff. This is definitely my favorite black metal-dungeon synth kinda album I've found recently. Each track flows into the next so well, I cannot recommend it enough. Perri

Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74

This album is just 100/100, like so many albums from mgla. How can a band hit the spot so many times? They are incredible. Thank you for accompanying me almost daily these days :) adrianradillo
