lyrics
Suesan Knorr was my name
My life – a never ending ordeal
Ultimately found my rest
in death
Mother – are you satisfied?
Mother – Suffer!!
After endless years of abuse
My freedom was within reach
Provided the evidence disappeared
My own teen brother as the surgeon
Extracting the bullet went terribly wrong
Duct taped my mouth shut
Bound my arms and legs
Dumped like trash
Dozed in gasoline
struck a match and never looked back
My name was Sheila Knorr
One year after my sisters death
Mum forced me to sell myself
In a way, being used by strangers
Bought me some peace
at home
But not for long
Until the lunacy reported back
Mum! Please! Mum!
I beg you!
Make it stop!
Mum!
Please just make it stop!!
I confess everything!
Mum please, mum please make it stop!!
Please let me out!!
Please make it stop!!

Masterful use of acoustic passages and synth stuff. This is definitely my favorite black metal-dungeon synth kinda album I've found recently. Each track flows into the next so well, I cannot recommend it enough. Perri

Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74

This album is just 100/100, like so many albums from mgla. How can a band hit the spot so many times? They are incredible. Thank you for accompanying me almost daily these days :) adrianradillo
